While the appeal partially succeeded in setting aside a demand of Rs 2,83,584 related to transit invoices, the appellate authority upheld demands totaling Rs 9,57,641 for Education Cess, Secondary & Higher Education Cess, Krishi Kalyan Cess, and Rs 2,58,549 for hotel booking facilitation services, along with a revised penalty of Rs 12,16,190. The company is evaluating legal remedies and states that the financial, operational, or other activities will not be materially impacted beyond the extent of the liability outlined in the order.
