Muthoot Capital Services receives BWR AA/Stable ratings for Rs 3,500 bank loan facilities

Muthoot Capital Services Ltd. has announced assignments of BWR AA/Stable ratings by Brickwork Ratings India Private Limited (BWR) for Bank Loan Facilities totaling Rs 3,500.00, an additional Rs 2,800.00, and a further Rs 700.00, representing a proposed bank loan facility, alongside assignments for various Term Loans from lenders including AU Small Finance Bank, Bank of Bahrain & Kuwait B.S.C, Capital Small Finance Bank, Equitas Small Finance Bank, IDFC First Bank Ltd., Indian Overseas Bank, Karur Vysya Bank, SBM Bank (India) Ltd., State Bank of India, Union Bank of India, Unity Small Finance Bank, Utkarsh Small Finance Bank, Kisetsu Saison Finance (India) Private Limited, and Federal Bank Ltd. (TL1 and TL2), alongside Cash Credit facilities from City Union Bank Ltd., Federal Bank Limited, Punjab National Bank, State Bank of India, Tamilnad Mercantile Bank, Central Bank of India, DCB Bank Ltd., Dhanalaxmi Bank Ltd., IDBI Bank Ltd., and Punjab National Bank, and WCDL facilities from the same lenders, while the agency also highlighted a rating of AA+/Stable for Muthoot Fincorp Ltd. as of July 2026, and noted that ratings for NCDs and Bank Loans are based on the standalone risk profile and implicit support from MPG, alongside a comfortable Capital Adequacy Ratio of 22.07% and a Debt-to-Equity Ratio of 4.88x.
