Bajel Projects secures Rs 400 crore transmission line order from PowerGrid Corporation

Bajel Projects Limited announced it has secured an Ultra-Mega order from PowerGrid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), acting through its Special Purpose Vehicle, WR ER Part A Power Transmission Limited, for transmission line works. The order, valued at Rs 400 Cr and above, involves the construction of a 765 kV Transmission Line from Raigarh (Tamnar) – Jamshedpur (New) Part - II, with a project completion period of 33 months from the date of the Notification of Award, and is considered to be within the company’s ordinary course of business; neither the company’s promoters nor group entities have any interest in the awarding entity, and the transaction does not constitute a related party transaction.
