Juniper Green Energy rises 0.59% after securing a 230 MW FDRE-RTC project from SECI

Juniper Green Energy Ltd. is up 0.59% to Rs 251.36, building on recent momentum that includes a 0.46% gain over the last one week. Juniper Green Energy Limited has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) for a 230 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy Round-the-Clock (FDRE-RTC) power project, as announced August 15, 2026. The project, awarded August 14, 2026, involves the construction, commissioning, and operations of the FDRE RTC facility connected to the Inter-State Transmission System, with a project size of 230 MW contracted capacity at a tariff of Rs 5.26 per unit. The project's commercial operations date is expected within 24 months from the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signing, with a 25-year PPA term. Trading volume reached 20.47 lakh shares today, a decrease of 72.43% compared to the average volume over the past week. Juniper Green Energy Ltd remained flat year-over-year, outperforming the NIFTY50 index's 1.08% loss.
