Larsen & Toubro secures ultra-mega order exceeding Rs 15,000 crore from a Middle Eastern client

Larsen & Toubro Ltd. remains at Rs 4044.6 today, after declining 0.87% over the last one week. Larsen & Toubro's Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore (LTEH Offshore) has secured an ultra-mega order, classified as exceeding Rs 15,000 Cr, from a Middle Eastern client for a strategic offshore development project involving engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning (EPCIC) of multiple offshore facilities, with a significant portion of fabrication occurring at L&T's facilities. The order, announced August 17, 2026, reinforces L&T's presence in the Middle East and reflects confidence in its ability to execute large, complex projects, according to T Madhava Das, Whole-time Director and Head - Energy Hydrocarbon Division, while Parthasarathi Chatterjee, Senior Vice President & Head – L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore, highlighted the company’s integrated EPCIC approach for such undertakings. Larsen & Toubro is a USD 32 billion Indian multinational. Trading volume reached 2.53 lakh shares today, a decrease of 76.67% compared to the one-week average volume. Larsen & Toubro Ltd marginally improved 10.00% year-over-year, outperforming the 1.08% loss registered by the NIFTY50 index.
