Avenue Supermarts secures CRISIL AAA/Stable rating for Rs. 1,000 crore Non-Convertible Debentures

Avenue Supermarts Ltd announced that Crisil Ratings Limited has assigned a CRISIL AAA/Stable rating to its Non-Convertible Debentures amounting to Rs. 1,000 crores, representing the first, second, and third tranches; this rating is pronounced as Crisil triple A rating with Stable outlook. Crisil Ratings also provided a rating for a debt issue, noting that the rating reflects the likelihood of timely payment, while Crisil has indicated "N/A" ratings for a comprehensive list of instruments including Listed/Proposed to be listed bonds/debentures/preference share (all securities), Unlisted/Proposed to be unlisted Bonds/Debentures/ Preference share (all securities), Listed PTCs / Securitisation Notes, Unlisted PTCs / Securitisation Notes, Commercial Paper and NCDs, Loan Facilities, External Commercial Borrowings, Certificates of Deposit, Fixed Deposits, Inter Corporate Deposits, Issuer Ratings, Credit Ratings for Capital Protection Oriented Schemes, Credit quality ratings for Mutual Fund Schemes, Security Receipts, Independent Credit Evaluation, and Expected Loss Ratings, all regulated by various bodies including SEBI, RBI, and MCA.
