Shyam Metalics and Energy reports sales growth, commissions aluminium foil plant in Sambalpur

Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited reported significant sales growth for the month ended August 31, 2026, according to a regulatory filing. The company saw a 16.44% year-over-year increase in stainless steel sales volume and a 45.51% rise in average realization, while aluminium foil sales volume increased by 27.41% with a 21.17% increase in average realization. Additionally, the company commissioned a new aluminium foil plant in Sambalpur with a capacity of 0.018 MTPA in July 2026, and metallics sales increased by 27.97% year-over-year.
