Ceigall India Limited jumps 5.85% after winning a Rs 214.52 crore stone mining contract in Bihar

Ceigall India Ltd. is up 5.85% to Rs 376.6 today, adding to recent gains that have seen the stock rise 9.25% over the last one week.

Ceigall India Limited has emerged as the highest bidder in a competitive bidding process through E-Reverse Auction from the Government of Bihar, Department of Mines and Geology, securing the rights to mine stone blocks in Nawada District, Lot-4 (Bhadokhara, Block-D). The contract, awarded on September 7, 2026, involves mining with a minable reserve of 4,19,300 cum per year and 20,96,500 cum over five years, with an annual value of Rs 28.82 crore, increasing by 20% each year, resulting in a total cumulative value of Rs 214.52 crore, excluding GST and other taxes.

Ceigall India Ltd. shares saw a trading volume of 6.22 lakh today, a surge of 37.38% above the average volume of the past week. Ceigall India Ltd. registered a strong increase of 35.25% year-over-year, outperforming the NIFTY50 index's 4.01% loss.
