Birlasoft's credit ratings reaffirmed as AA+ by CARE Ratings, reflecting a strong financial profile

Birlasoft Ltd announced that CARE Ratings Limited and CARE Ratings Ltd. have reaffirmed credit ratings for various bank facilities, including Long-term bank facilities amounting to Rs 307.00, Long-term/Short-term bank facilities totaling Rs 20.00, and Short-term bank facilities of Rs 25.00, all carrying ratings of CARE AA+; Stable and CARE A1+ respectively, with the latter also including RBI stipulations; additionally, CARE Ratings Limited (CareEdge Ratings) has reaffirmed bank facilities with the same ratings. The reaffirmations reflect expectations of a strong financial risk profile and incorporate the rating of National Engineering Industries Limited, a holding company, at CARE AA-; Stable/CARE A1+, while CARE Ratings anticipates the company will maintain PBILDT margins at approximately 15% with modest growth, alongside financial metrics such as a term loan of Rs 8 crore, lease liabilities of Rs 1.32 crore, cash and liquid investments of Rs 2,878.6 crore, a net worth of Rs 3,512 crore, overall gearing of 0.04x, interest cover of 58.56x for Q1FY27 and 40.88x for FY26, a Total debt/PBILDT ratio of 0.18x, TD to GCA of 0.24x, cash accruals exceeding Rs 600 crore per annum for FY27-FY29, and repayment obligations of Rs 10-12 crore per annum for FY27-FY29.
