Prime Focus Limited seeks to raise up to Rs 3,000 crore via equity and debt

Prime Focus Limited, at its board meeting on August 7, 2026, approved a change in designation for Mr. Namit Malhotra from Non-Executive Director to Whole Time Director for a term of three years. The company also seeks to raise up to Rs 3,000 crore through the issuance of equity shares and/or debt securities or other securities, potentially including Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP), American Depository Receipts (ADR/GDR), preferential issues, or rights issues. Additionally, the company finalized agreements on April 1, 2026, for the sale of assets, with Brahma AI Holdings Limited (a subsidiary) as the buyer and DNEG S.a.r.l. (another subsidiary) as the seller, for a consideration of USD 90.09 million and USD 21 million respectively. These transactions are considered related party transactions and are being conducted at arm’s length.
