Nila Infrastructures secures amendment to Ahmedabad slum rehabilitation project for Rs 105.65 crore

Nila Infrastructures Limited announced it received an amendment to a work order from the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) on October 1, 2026, concerning the "Gulbai Tekra" slum rehabilitation project in Ahmedabad. The original work order, awarded on February 5, 2024, involved constructing 854 residential units and 10 commercial shops for Rs 99.08 crore, with the company receiving Rs 70.34 crore in Transferable Development Rights (TDR) and Rs 28.74 crore as land premium. The amendment expands the project to include an additional 56 residential units and 2 commercial shops, bringing the total to 910 residential units and 12 commercial shops for a revised value of Rs 105.65 crore, with the company now receiving only Rs 105.65 crore in TDR as consideration.
