Container Corporation of India secures Rs 87.15 crore wagon order from Southern Railway

Container Corporation of India Ltd., a Navratna CPSE of the Government of India, has secured an order from the Chief Workshop Manager, Golden Rock Workshop, Southern Railway, for the supply of 12 rakes of BLSS wagons with Brake Van Type BVCM, valued at Rs 87.15 Crores (excluding Free Supply Items) including GST. The order, awarded to a domestic entity, is expected to be fulfilled within a specified timeframe, with no promoter or group company interest involved, and does not constitute a related party transaction, as disclosed to the BSE Ltd. and National Stock Exchange of India Ltd.
