Dhanuka Agritech faces Rs 5.64 crore to Rs 10.75 crore Entry Tax demands from the Gurugram Excise & Taxation Department

Dhanuka Agritech Limited has received demand orders for Entry Tax totaling Rs 5.64 Crore for FY 2008-09, Rs 6.27 Crore for FY 2009-10, Rs 6.97 Crore for FY 2010-11, Rs 7.74 Crore for FY 2011-12, Rs 8.60 Crore for FY 2012-13, Rs 9.56 Crore for FY 2013-14, and Rs 10.75 Crore for FY 2014-15, from the Excise & Taxation Department in Gurugram, related to the Haryana Tax on Entry of Goods into Local Areas Act, 2008; the company maintains that these demands are not maintainable and is exploring options including legal action, anticipating no material impact on its financials, operations, or other activities.
