Highness Microelectronics Limited rises 1.98% after securing Rs 54 lakh order for ruggedized displays for metro stations

Highness Microelectronics Ltd. is up 1.98% to Rs 267.25, extending recent gains and adding to a 6.07% increase over the last week.

Highness Microelectronics Limited announced it has received a purchase order for approximately Rs 54 lakhs (including taxes and freight) to supply ruggedized displays for Ticket Vending Machines (TVM) to be deployed at Metro and Urban Mobility stations in a metro city. The order, awarded by a domestic entity operating in the transportation and digital infrastructure sector, is to be executed within six weeks, and the company disclosed that neither promoters nor group companies have any interest in the awarding entity, nor does the transaction constitute a related party transaction.

Trading volume reached 14400 shares today, a decrease of 62.5% from the one-week average volume. Highness Microelectronics Ltd remained flat year-over-year, outperforming the NIFTY50 index's 10.57% loss.
